The Innovation Opportunity Camp has been designed for incoming high school juniors and seniors with a minimum GPA of 2.75. Applications will also be accepted from college-bound 2009 graduates. A limited number of openings is available.

The camp will be held at UT Dallas in Richardson, Texas. Sessions will run daily, Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The cost of the two-week program is $895, which includes course materials, daily lunches, a camp T-shirt and awards. A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required with the application. Payment in full will be required at registration.

The Innovation Opportunity Camp is a program of the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at UT Dallas. Financial support for the camp has been provided by a grant from the Texas Instruments Foundation.

To apply for the Innovation Opportunity Camp:

1. Complete and sign the application form.

2. Complete and staple to your application a one-page personal statement telling us why you wish to attend the camp. Tell us about your academic and professional goals, work experience and involvement in extracurricular activities (sports, clubs, etc.).

3. Attach a letter of recommendation from a current high school teacher.

4. Take the completed application package to your high school guidance counselor who will complete the certification section on the application.

5. Complete and attach the Release and Indemnification Form for Minor Participants to your application.

6. Complete and attach the Medical Information and Release Form to your application.

7. Include the non-refundable application fee of $50 by check or credit card (see application form). The application fee will be applied against the $895 program fee.
