is critical to each of us in our daily lives, and energy expenditures account for
about 8% of GDP worldwide.
Although the energy industry broadly includes petroleum and natural gas exploration
and production, this Research and New Venture Showcase will be focused
on ground-breaking research and new developments in the generation and storage of electrical energy. A subsequent program, planned for Spring 2012, will focus on electrical energy transmission, utilization and efficiency. |
