Participation in IIE Community Outreach Programs

Entrepreneurship Club members are involved as student volunteers, providing assistance and support for the programs and initiatives of the Institute, providing opportunities for “backstage” contacts and networking opportunities with speakers, entrepreneurs and program participants from the community.

Camp Enterprise

Camp Enterprise is an intensive three-an-a-half-day seminar put on by the Dallas Rotary Club that teaches business issues for a select group of high school seniors. Each September, Dallas area students interact with business executives, politicians, union leaders, and government representatives. Participating young men and women explore fundamental challenges, opportunities and obligations of the free enterprise system. Dallas Rotary Club hopes to spark something in the students, and get them interested in free enterprise, entrepreneurship, and personal finance.

The Entrepreneurship Club @ UT Dallas members serve as mentors for the students at Camp Enterprise.
