Title:Innovation Opportunity Summer Camp for High School Students

Description:This two-week summer camp for high school students focuses on technology-based innovation and entrepreneurship. Participants will explore entrepreneurship as a career option, meet with successful entrepreneurs, participate in team-based activities mentored by UT Dallas students, develop presentation and communications skills, see science and research in action and how they apply to innovation and product development, and learn from UT Dallas faculty, professional investors and entrepreneurs. Topics will include creativity, opportunity identification and evaluation, how to do market research, developing a business strategy and model, infrastructure, legal issues, financing, organizational development and more.
