The Girls Going Places® Program was created and piloted in Southwest Florida in 1999 to educate young women about the financial and entrepreneurial opportunities available to them. Girls Going Places® Entrepreneurship Conferences are designed to encourage financial literacy and educate teen girls about starting businesses, and managing personal finances.
Workshop attendees will be assigned to tables of 10 girls with 1-2 professional women mentors from the community. These women will guide the girls through a series of activities designed to inspire them to think about innovation and entrepreneurship.
