In partnership with the University of Texas at Austin and our commitment to sustainable and renewable energy innovation, the Venture Development Center has been awarded a Clean Energy grant by the State Energy Conservation Office (SECO). This grant will be used to establish a one-year clean energy incubator program and will provide support and resources to startups who are developing energy efficient and green technology startups in North Texas.
The program runs from October 1, 2017, through October 1, 2018. Upon completion of the 12-month program, one of the 5 selected companies will receive a grant for $10,000 in cash award. Each of the accepted teams will also be eligible to apply for funding from the UT Dallas Seed Fund.
