Our mentorship program is your gateway to navigating the challenges of entrepreneurship, transforming your ideas into impactful ventures, and accelerating your growth in the business world.

Mentor meetings can occur virtually through Microsoft Teams, by phone, or in person based on the mentor’s and mentee’s preferences.

Mentor Meeting Request

Successful UT Dallas-based entrepreneurs and subject matter experts are available to meet throughout the academic year and have provided key insights and mentorship to dozens of startup founders.

Steps to request a mentor:

  1. Read the Mentorship FAQ
  2. Create a profile on StartupTree
  3. Browse Mentors
  4. Select a mentor to meet with and click “request mentor” and our office will review the request. If the mentor has office hours click “book meeting now” and follow the prompts.
  5. Once your meeting is confirmed, send a calendar invite to the mentor with the date, time, and location, virtual meeting link, or phone number.
  6. Show up on time and be prepared for your meeting.

Each year we invite experienced entrepreneurs to serve as mentors and resources for current students. Students and alumni can sign up for office hours with the current EIR using their calendar link below. Learn more about Brian here.
