Naveen Jindal School of Management

Faculty for the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship are based out of the Naveen Jindal School of Management (JSOM) — The Innovation & Entrepreneurship faculty teaches undergraduate and graduate-level courses leading to a Master’s of Science in Innovation & Entrepreneurship (MSIE), an undergraduate concentration (minor) in I&E, and variety of certificate and executive education options.


Blackstone LaunchPad

Blackstone LaunchPad is a co-working and event space that was established with a $1M grant from the charitable foundation of the world’s largest private equity firm, Blackstone, creating a 5,000-square foot multi-purpose collaborative space to inspire, accelerate, and support student entrepreneurship.


UTDesign Studio

The UTDesign Studio is where you find 3D printers, laser cutters, and a range of conventional to high-tech machine-shop tools for students to take their ideas and turn them into real products.


Venture Development Center

Venture Development Center (VDC) is managed in partnership with the Office of Research and Innovation. It’s a 20,000-square-foot incubator that hosts student, faculty, and alumni entrepreneurs, supporting them with: fixed desks, dedicated offices and cubes; state-of-the-art facilities, e.g., dry & wet labs and cleanroom space; and other critical resources and connections, e.g., conference room facilities, mailing address and mailroom service.


UTD @ the Richardson IQ
